Practical Research on Integration of the Red Medical Spirit into College Medical English Teaching
The red medical spirit is one of the advanced red revolutionary cultures formed in the practice of founding and developing pe-ople's medical and healthcare services in the Central Soviet Area under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Its significant ideological connotation and epochal implication provide orientation of values and pursuit of goals for medical education and personnel training in the new era.The integration of the red medical spirit into college medical English teaching not only helps to project China's medical image,spread her positive voice,and strengthen confidence in Chinese culture,but also greatly improves the political literacy and the overall quality of medical students and promotes the shaping and cultivation of their correct values,professional ethics,dedica-tion to medicine,and sense of responsibility.This paper explores the implementation approaches and effective mechanism of integrating the red medical spirit into college medical English teaching by adopting its educational elements to promote ideological-political edu-cation,carrying out experiential teaching to exert the spirit,and comprehensively evaluating the educational influences on the students,so as to provide practical inspiration and valuable reference for promoting the integration of the red revolutionary cultures into medical English and curriculum teaching in colleges.
