Exploration of Strategies for the Integration and Development of English Teaching and Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions under the Background of Great Ideology and Politics
Under the background of"ideological and political education",English education in universities requires teachers to integrate ideological and political education into English teaching while teaching English,and carry out ideological and political education in Eng-lish teaching courses to promote students'comprehensive development in language ability,cultural awareness,and value formation.Through the organic integration of college English teaching and ideological and political education,we aim to help students learn West-ern culture with critical thinking,enabling them to distinguish right from wrong,stand firm,and practice socialist core values when faced with different values and cultural information inputs.
