The essence of education is"establishing morality and cultivating people",and integrating ideological and political education into professional courses is the goal and direction of current higher education teaching reform.This article takes one course of ideological and political education in the engineering drawing course as an example,following the logical thinking of"point,line,surface,and body".By listing engineering cases,introducing ideological and political stories,inspiring students'thoughts,and presenting educa-tional effects,it explores the ideas and methods of ideological and political elements,providing reference for the specific implementation of ideological and political construction in engineering courses.
