A Study on the Ideological and Political Path of English Writing Courses from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence
Students not only learn language knowledge,but also come into contact with Western ideologies and cultural values in the pro-cess of foreign language studies in higher education institutions.In order to prevent the invisible infiltration of Western consciousness and culture into the ideological and political thinking of contemporary college students,curriculum ideology and politics should be im-plemented in foreign language education to help students establish correct values and worldviews.This article systematically elaborates on how to organically integrate professional knowledge with ideological and political elements in the teaching practice of English major writing,starting from the teaching objectives,teaching content and evaluation methods.On the one hand,it focuses on training students'professional skills,and on the other hand,it helps students establish cultural confidence,with the aim of providing reference for ideol-ogical and political education in foreign language courses.
