Embodied Cognitive Theory:Exploring the Innovative Path of Memorial Museum Exhibition Design
Embodied cognition is the most significant and representative orientation in the rise of second-generation cognitive science.Applying embodied cognition theory to the exhibition design of memorial halls can help understand the audience's cognitive habits to-wards exhibition information and provide new thinking directions for the exhibition design of memorial halls.On the basis of clarifying the relationship between embodied cognition theory and exhibition design in memorial halls,this article analyzes how to change people's perception and emotional reactions from two aspects:audience perception and the interaction between the body and the environment.From this,three strategies are explored:combining narrative and action,focusing on visitors'physical perception,and emphasizing en-vironmental experience as optimization and enhancement of exhibitions.These strategies aim to promote the emotional cohesion of visi-tors and enhance collective identity in memorial halls,enrich exhibition theory,and promote innovative practices in exhibition design industry.
