Umbilical refining of heat-sensitive moxibustion for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome:two medical records
This paper aims to explore the effectiveness of umbilical refining of heat-sensitive moxibustion for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).It analyzes the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)etiology and pathogenesis of PCOS and discusses the physiological role of the Shenque point, revealing its significance in treating this condition.Subsequently, the basic principles of umbilical refining of heat-sensitive moxibustion are introduced, including its historical development, specific operational methods, and mechanisms of action. It clarifies that this technique enhances the physiological function of the umbilical area through thermal stimulation, thereby improving the symptoms of patients with PCOS.Two clinical cases are presented to demonstrate the application and effectiveness of thermal-sensitive umbilical therapy in the treatment of PCOS,validating the feasibility and effectiveness of this method and providing new ideas and practical evidence for TCM treatment of this condition.
