Evaluation on radiological protection of new radiotherapy clinic in Ergong Community Health Service Center of Urumqi
[Objective] To evaluate the control effect of radiological protection of new radiotherapy workplace in Ergong Community Health Service Center of Urumqi,determine the effectiveness and suitability of the radiological protection facilities and the protection measures in controlling the occupational exposure and preventing the potential exposure,and ensure the health and safety of the radiological staff and the public.[Methods] The results of field detection were compared with the national standards.[Results] The qualified rate for the air kerma rate in the area around the workplace was 100％,the image quality detection results was 92.7％,and the control effect of radiological protection in radiotherapy workplace basically met the requirements of the national standards.It is necessary to further improve the allocation of the personal protection articles,and maintain the CT machine,to ensure the safety of the subjects and the radiological staff.[Conclusion] The new radiological diagnostic construction project in the center is identified as the project with general degree of occupational hazards.The control effect of radiological protection in radiotherapy workplace has basically met the requirements of the national standards,and can ensure the health and safety of the radiological staff and the public.
