Analysis on current situation and influencing factors of the sense of achievement among nursing students from the perspective of professional values
Objective To explore the current situation of the sense of achievement among nursing students from the perspective of professional values,and analyze its influencing factors.Methods From March to June 2022,a total of 326 nursing students from two universities in Jingchu area of Hubei Province were selected by convenient sampling method.A questionnaire survey was conducted using demographic data questionnaire,course ideological and political awareness questionnaire,and college student sense of achievement questionnaire,and the data was analyzed.Results The total score of the sense of achievement for nursing students was(133.80±18.54)points,and the total score of course ideological and political awareness was(37.29±4.63)points.The awareness of ideological and political education in courses was positively correlated with the sense of achievement(r=0.632,P＜0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender,frequent participation in volunteer activities,and awareness of ideological and political education in courses were the influencing factors on the sense of achievement of nursing students(all P＜0.05),accounting for 43.7％of the total variance.Conclusion Nursing students have a good sense of achievement.Nursing educators and teaching managers should pay attention to the establishment of effective communication mechanism with nursing students,encourage them to participate in volunteer activities,improve their awareness of ideological and political courses through multiple ways,enhance their sense of achievement,promote the comprehensive development of nursing students,enhance their professional qualities,and establish good professional values.
