Analysis on epidemiological characteristics of newly diagnosed pneumoconiosis in Changzhi City from 2015-2020
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of newly diagnosed pneumoconiosis in Changzhi city during 2015-2020,and to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and control of pneumoconiosis.Methods The data of newly diagnosed pneumoconiosis in Changzhi from January 2015 to December 2020 was collected from Chinese Information System for Disease Control and Prevention-Occupation Disease and Occupation Health Information Monitor System.The database was established and adopted for statistical description and trend test by SPSS 22.0.Results From 2015-2020,there were 222 newly confirmed cases of pneumoconiosis in Changzhi City.Except Lucheng District,Qinxian County and Pingshun County,there were new cases of pneumoconiosis in Changzhi City,including 159 cases(71.62%)in Phase Ⅰ,10 cases(4.51%)in Phase Ⅱ and 53 cases(23.87%)in Phase Ⅲ.Among the new types of pneumoconiosis from 2015-2020,coal workers'pneumoconiosis and silicosis were the mains.There was a statistically significant difference in the level of pneumoconiosis among workers of different ages,dust exposure years,types of work,and regions(all P<0.05).Among the new types of pneumoconiosis in 2015-2020,coal miners,support workers,drillers,tunnellers and rock drillers were the mains,accounting for 80.63%of the total cases.The new cases of pneumoconiosis in Changzhi City were mainly concentrated in Lunan and Lubei regions.The number of new cases of pneumoconiosis in Shangdang District,Licheng County and Xiangyuan County ranked the top 3,with 70 cases(31.53%),53 cases(23.87%)and 34 cases(15.32%)respectively.Conclusions The situation of prevention and control of pneumoconiosis in Changzhi City is still serious,and the pneumoconiosis shows obvious regional distribution,and the age of onset is younger.Therefore,it should be combined with the epidemiological characteristics of pneumoconiosis,strengthen the supervision and management of key industries and special investigations,especially in high incidence areas should focus on pneumoconiosis survey and pneumoconiosis screening of dust removal workers.
