Analysis on incidence of occupational diseases in Sanming City from 2006-2021
Objective To understand the dynamic changes,incidence patterns,and characteristics of new occupational diseases in Sanming City from 2006-2021,and provide reference basis for occupational disease prevention and control work.Methods The number of occupational disease cases reported by Sanming City in the Occupational Disease and Occupational Health Information Monitoring System from 2006-2021 was collected,and the data was analyzed.Results A total of 3 059 cases of occupational diseases were reported in Sanming City from 2006-2021,including 2 752(89.96％)cases of pneumoconiosis,292(9.55％)cases of occupational chemical poisoning,and 15(0.49％)cases of other types of occupational diseases.Occupational diseases were mainly distributed in Datian County(1 426 cases,5 1.82％)and Yong'an City(1 035 cases,37.61％).The industry was mainly distributed in bituminous coal and anthracite mining and washing industries(2 702 cases,67.73％).The economic types of enterprises were mainly private liability limited companies(862 cases,28.18％),joint-stock limited companies(751 cases,24.55％),and state-owned enterprises(669 cases,21.87％).The scales of enterprises were dominated by large enterprises(914 cases,29.88％)and small enterprises(1 167 cases,38.15％).From the perspective of years,the annual distribution of occupational disease cases from 2006-2021 showed a fluctuated upward trend,with the peak periods of incidence occurring from 2010-2013,2016,and 2019-2021,respectively.The main pneumoconiosis in Sanming City were coal workers'pneumoconiosis and silicosis,of which 213 cases(65.81％)were coal workers'pneumoconiosis and 673 cases(22.0％)were silicosis.Conclusions The situation of occupational disease prevention and control in Sanming City remains severe.According to the characteristics of occupational diseases in Sanming City,we should pay more attention to the regions and enterprises with high incidence rate,strengthen the control of the source of occupational hazards,strengthen occupational health education,enhance workers'awareness of occupational disease prevention,thoroughly implement the strategy of building a healthy China,and take comprehensive measures to strengthen the prevention and control of occupational diseases.
