Risk assessment of residual levels of four anti-coccidiosis drugs in chicken and eggs in Yunnan Province
Objective To explore the residual status and consumption risks of four anti coccidiosis drugs, namely nicarbazine, diclazulide, tocracolizumab, and tocracolizumab sulfone,in animal derived foods such as chicken and eggs in Yunnan Province. Methods A total of 128 samples were collected from 16 cities in Yunnan Province from March to May 2022,high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)was used to monitor the residual levels of four anticoccidia drugs, including nicarbizine, desculide, totrozulide and totrozulide in chicken and eggs, and the risk was assessed according to daily intake. Results It was detected in both chicken and egg,and the detection concentration ranged from 1.00 to 296 μg/kg,the maximum residue levels of nicarbazide, diclazuril, toltrazuril sulfone, and toltrazuril were 210,115,296,and 1.00 μg/kg,respectively,with the over-standard rate was 1.56%(2 cases). The estimated daily risk exposure was 0.016 9 μg/(kg·bw)for chicken and 0.004 93 μg/(kg·bw)for eggs, which was well below the allowable daily intake(ADI).Conclusion The intake of chicken and eggs in Yunnan Province does not pose a risk to human health, but attention should be paid to the intake of anti coccidiosis drugs when consuming chicken and eggs.
