Evaluation of occupational hazard status of concrete station in Shaanxi Province
Objective To understand the status quo of occupational hazards in a commercial concrete station in Xianyang City of Shaanxi Province, and to provide reference for reducing the incidence of occupational diseases. Methods The status quo of a commercial concrete station in Xianyang City of Shaanxi Province was evaluated in September 2020,and the data were collected by field investigation, inspection list, detection and inspection, and occupational health examination. Results The main occupational hazard factors in the construction project were chemical factors(other dust and silica dust)and physical factors(noise). The maximum time-weighted average concentration of workers'exposure to dust was 2.2 mg/m3,which was the forklift driver at the loading position of the silo. The maximum short-term exposure concentration was 4.7mg/m3,and the maximum 8 h equivalent sound level intensity of workers'exposure was 85.4 dB(A),which was the forklift driver at the loading position of the silo. Conclusions The construction project of a commercial concrete station in Shaanxi Province belongs to the category of serious occupational hazards, and the forklift driver is the key control point of this project. In the future evaluation and supervision process,it is suggested to establish a comprehensive file for forklift drivers of similar commercial concrete station bin loading operation position, unified management by region, which can strengthen the effectiveness and pertinence of occupational health management.
