Incidence of occupational diseases in Liaoning Province from 2006 to 2022
Objective To understand the incidence of newly diagnosed occupational diseases reported in Liaoning Province from 2006 to 2022,explore the epidemiological trends and characteristics of occupational diseases,provide basic data for formulating occupational disease prevention and control policies and scientific research,and explore the key points of occupational disease prevention and control in Liaoning Province.Methods The data of occupational diseases reported in Liaoning Provence from 2006 to 2022 were collected and analyzed.Results From 2006 to 2022,a total of 16 294 new cases of occupational diseases were reported,the number of new cases occupational diseases has been on the rise since 2007,and it increased to a maximum of 3 073 in 2014,began to fell down in 2015.Occupational pneumoconiosis and occupational chemical poisoning accounted for 95.1%of the total cases,with 14 707 cases(90.3%)and 785 cases(4.8%),respectively.The cumulative reported new cases of occupational diseases were mainly distributed in Huludao(11 404 cases,70.0%),Shenyang(806 cases,4.9%),and Chaoyang(690 cases,4.2%).The cumulative reported new cases of occupational diseases in the mining industry were 14 108 cases,accounting for 86.6%,ranking first.The average length of service for newly diagnosed cases of various occupational diseases was 15.6 years,and the average age of onset was 51.6 years.Conclusion The incidence of occupational diseases in Liaoning Province shows obvious clustering in disease types,regions,industries,and other aspects.It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of occupational diseases in key areas and industries based on the characteristics of occupational diseases.
