Analysis on electronic health literacy levels and influencing factors among residents in Qiqihar City
Objective To understand the current situation of residents'eHealth literacy level and its influencing factors in Qiqihar,so as to provide reference for improving the residents'e-health literacy level and promoting the coordinated development of"Internet+healthcare"in China.Methods From July 2022 to April 2023,718 residents in Qiqihar City were selected as research subjects by convenience sampling,the eHealth Literacy Scale(eHEALS)was used to investigate the level of e-health literacy among residents,and the general information questionnaire based on the Anderson model was designed to investigate the influencing factors,and the data were analyzed.Results The e-health literacy score of 718 residents in Qiqihar was(25.33±8.19)points,among which,the ability to apply network health information and services was(16.06±5.33)points,the ability to judge was(6.23±2.17)points,and the ability to make decisions was(3.04±1.21)points.The differences in e-health literacy dispositional characteristics,enabling resources,and demand dimensions scores among residents of different age,gender,education level,marital status,attitude towards electronic health information,monthly income,medical insurance type,daily internet usage time,electronic health information search frequency,search channel types,chronic disease prevalence and self-rated health status were statistically significant(all P＜0.01).Gender,educational level,and marital status were the influencing factors of the dispositional characteristics dimensions of residents'electronic health literacy tendencies,monthly income,medical insurance type,average daily online time,frequency of health information search and classification of health information search channels were the influencing factors of the enabling resource dimension,and self-rated health status was the influencing factor of the demand dimension(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The level of e-health literacy among residents in Qiqihar City is still low.It is necessary to strengthen attention and improvement of the level of e-health literacy among residents,starting from multiple dimensions such as population,resources,and needs,and comprehensively improving the level of e-health literacy among Chinese residents.
