Research progress on epidemiological characteristics and incidence prediction of bacillary dysentery
Bacterial dysentery is an intestinal disease caused by Shigella, with its peak onset concentrated in summer and autumn, and it is prone to spread in areas with collective housing, unclean diet, and poor hygiene conditions. In view of the epidemiological characteristics of bacillary dysentery, scholars at home and abroad have proposed various models for predicting the incidence of bacillary dysentery, which have also achieved good results in practice, providing a scientific basis for the monitoring and prevention of bacillary dysentery. This article reviews the research progress on the epidemiological characteristics, influencing factors and disease prediction of bacillary dysentery, laying the foundation for further improving the existing prediction models and exploring more accurate epidemiological characterisation and prediction methods in the future.
