Analysis on occupational health examination results of hand-transmitted vibration workers in Shunde District of Foshan City
Objective To analyze the occupational health examination results of hand-transmitted vibration operation workers and provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of occupational diseases in hand-transmitted vibration operations. Methods The judgment sampling method was adopted,a total of 915 workers who were exposed to the operation of hand-transmitted vibration during on-the-job occupational health examination from 2018 to 2022 in Shunde Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Center of Foshan City were selected as the research objects. The occupational health examination results of workers during their on-duty period were collected, with a focus on collecting electroneuromyography(ENMG)results for statistical analysis. Results Among 915 workers,179 ENMG cases were abnormal, with an abnormal rate of 19.56%.The results of univariate analysis showed that marriage, age, total length of service, length of service at risk, type of work, enterprise scale, enterprise economic type and industry type were all influencing factors for abnormal ENMG in hand-transmitted vibration operation workers(all P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, enterprise scale and industry type were all influencing factors for abnormal ENMG in hand-transmitted vibration operation workers(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the prevention and control of occupational diseases caused by hand-transmitted vibration, attention should be paid to the classification and supervision of small and micro enterprises and the metal product industry, and research and protection of older workers should be strengthened.
