Analysis on sleep quality status and influencing factors of personnel in Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)in border counties(cities)in Yunnan Province
Objective To analyze the sleep status and influencing factors of personnel in Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)in border counties(cities)in Yunnan Province. Methods A cluster random sampling method was used to select all staff of CDC in 18 border counties(cities)in Yunnan Province as survey subjects from June to July 2022.Questionnaire stars were used as carriers, and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and social support rating scale(SSRS)were used to investigate the sleep status of the survey subjects, and compared and analyzed with the Chinese norm.Descriptive statistics, univariate analysis and multiple linear regression analysis methods were used to analyze the data. Results A total of 861 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective rate of 92.2%.The average PSQI score of border CDC staff was(8.45±3.72)points,662 people(76.9%)were detected with sleep disorders, and the overall average score of social support was(40.76±9.51)points.The results of multivariate analysis showed that educational background, professional title, whether the individual is an only child,self-test health status, weekly overtime hours and social support were the factors affecting the sleep quality of CDC staff(all P<0.05).Conclusion The sleep quality of CDC staff in the border counties(cities)is generally poor,so the unit should reasonably arrange rotation rest, provide rest places for CDC staff, hold regular health lectures, and carry out relaxation experience training appropriately,so as to improve the sleep quality and working state of CDC staff.
