Analysis on duplicate report and deletion of acute hepatitis B related report cards in Tianjin City from 2018 to 2022
Objective To analyze the duplicate report and deletion of acute hepatitis B related report cards in Tianjin City from 2018 to 2022,and provide suggestions and references for standardizing hepatitis B report in the future.Methods The information about all hepatitis B cases reported in Tianjin City from January 1,2018 to December 31,2022 were derived from the"National Notifiable Disease Report System".According to the cases'name and ID number,the exported hepatitis B report cards were checked independently and combined,and the duplicate report cards related to acute hepatitis B were screened out,then to analyze the duplicate report and deletion situation.Results There were 215 duplicate reports of acute hepatitis B in Tianjin City from 2018 to 2022,involving 105 cases,and 93.33％of the cases had the interval of less than 6 months.The proportion of consistent diagnosis in two different hospitals was 31.03％,which was higher than the proportion with inconsistent diagnosis(9.21％),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The proportion of follow-up HBsAg turned negative in the patients with consistent diagnosis was 79.32％,which was higher than that in the patients with inconsistent diagnosis(55.26％),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).At least one duplicate report card was deleted in 96 cases,76.04％(73/96)deleted correctly,23.96％(23/96)deleted incorrectly.According to 105 duplicated cases of acute hepatitis B,the adjusted incidence rate of acute hepatitis B from 2018 to 2022 was 0.82/100 000,0.59/100 000,0.38/100 000,0.45/100 000,and 0.39/100 000,respectively.Conclusion In the network reporting of acute hepatitis B in Tianjin City,there are undeleted and incorrectly deleted duplicate report cards,but the impact on the reported incidence rate is low at present,but the impact of this situation on reported incidence rates is currently low.Further efforts should be made to manage duplicate cards,and strengthen the review of duplicate cards and track its deletion.
