Physiological indicators,negative emotions,and task performance of pilots under unexpected events during flight
Flight is a highly programmatic process task,and unexpected event refers to an unforeseen or unanticipated situation during flight,including mechanical failures,sudden weather changes,navigation errors,etc.Unexpected events have a significant impact on flight safety and can increase physiological and psychological stress on pilots,affecting their decision-making ability and posing a threat to overall flight safety.This article is based on previous research and reviews the changes in pilots'physiological indicators,negative emotions,and task performance during unexpected events during flight.Unexpected events during flight can affect pilots'physiological indicators,trigger negative emotions,and decrease their task performance.The impact of unexpected events on pilots is modulated by individual differences,learning effects regarding unexpected events,and evaluation factors.Future researchers need to further study and understand the effects of unexpected events on pilots in order to develop more effective strategies to improve flight safety.
