Evidence-Based Medicine Review of TCM in Combination with Chemotherapy and Targeted Therapy for Advanced Colorectal Cancer
The common colorectal cancer(CRC)threatens human health.At the moment,it has been frequently confirmed that TCM shows synergy with chemotherapy and targeted therapy.The combination of TCM and western medicine has become a new mode for the treatment of advanced CRC,providing more treatment approaches and ideas.In this study,relevant articles were retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastruc-ture(CNKI),VIP,Wanfang Data,and PubMed(from inception to December 30,2022)and analyzed.On this basis,the clinical research on TCM in combination with chemotherapy and targeted therapy for advanced CRC was dissected.Literature research shows that TCM can effec-tively improve the short-term and long-term clinical efficacy of chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy for patients with advanced CRC and plays an essential part in reducing toxic and side effects and improving immune function.
