摘要

糖尿病是目前世界范围内严重威胁人类健康的慢性疾病之一,常伴有严重的临床并发症,如糖尿病性心肌病、肾病、视网膜病变、神经病变等.由于西药治疗副作用的存在,从天然植物中寻找新型分子药物对抗糖尿病及其并发症已成为当前研究的热点.木犀草素是一种天然存在的类黄酮,广泛存在于水果、蔬菜等植物中,具有抗炎、抗氧化和调节免疫等多种药理作用.大量研究证实,木犀草素在控制血糖和对抗糖尿病方面具有显著效果.为了更好地了解木犀草素的作用机制,本文对近年来国内外木犀草素防治糖尿病的相关文献进行归纳整理,综述木犀草素在恢复胰岛β细胞功能、改善胰岛素抵抗、调节脂质代谢、抑制肠道糖脂吸收以及抑制氧化应激和炎症等方面的作用机制,并对木犀草素调控糖尿病的研究前景进行展望,以期促进该中药活性物质的开发和利用.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus,one of the chronic diseases that seriously threaten human health,is often accompanied by serious clinical complica-tions,such as diabetic cardiomyopathy,nephropathy,retinopathy,and neuropathy.Mining novel molecules from natural plants to treat diabetes and its complications has emerged as a hot topic in current research due to the adverse effects of western medicines.Luteolin is a natural fla-vonoid ubiquitous in a variety of plants such as fruits and vegetables,possessing anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,immunomodulatory and other pharmacological effects.Studies have confirmed that luteolin is effective in preventing diabetes and regulating blood glucose level.To well un-derstand the functioning mechanism of luteolin,this article reviews the studies about the prevention and treatment of diabetes in recent years and summarizes the mechanisms of luteolin in restoring pancreatic islet β cell function,mitigating insulin resistance,regulating lipid metabo-lism,inhibiting intestinal absorption of glucose and lipids,and suppressing oxidative stress and inflammation.Furthermore,this article pros-pects the application of luteolin in the treatment of diabetes mellitus,aiming to promote the development and utilization of this active ingredient in Chinese herbal medicines.
