Animal Models of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Based on the Characteristics of Clinical Symptoms in Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine:An Analysis
Based on the characteristics of clinical symptoms of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, this paper summarized the animal models of pulmonary tuberculosis in traditional Chinese and western medicine by retrieving databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and PubMed.Based on the clinical symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis, the fitness of animal models with clinical symptoms in tradi-tional Chinese and western medicine was analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of different modeling methods were analyzed, and sug-gestions and ideas for animal models of symptoms in traditional Chinese and western medicine were provided. It was found that the current an-imal models of pulmonary tuberculosis were mainly based on clinical indicators of western medicine, such as hemoptysis symptoms and caseous necrosis of lung histopathology, which were rarely combined with the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation of tuberculosis. In animal models,no modeling method for TCM clinical symptoms of tuberculosis was found.
