Clinical Study on the Combination of Modified Qigui Xiaozheng Formula and TC Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Advanced Ovarian Cancer
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of modified Qigui Xiaozheng Formula combined with TC chemotherapy in treating patients with advanced ovarian cancer.Methods:A total of 95 patients with advanced ovarian cancer who received chemotherapy at the oncology department of The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to April 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group.The control group(48 patients)received TC chemotherapy,while the treatment group(47 patients)was treated with modified Qigui Xiaozheng Formula combined with TC chemotherapy.The treatment cycle was 21 days,and the total treatment lasted for 4 cycles.Blood rheology indicators,immune function,tumor markers,KPS scores,and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the fibrinogen,whole blood viscosity(high shear),and whole blood viscosity(low shear)levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+in the treatment group were higher,and CD8+was lower compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of CA125,CA199,and HE4 were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The KPS score was higher in the treatment group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in the treatment group compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of modified Qigui Xiaozheng Formula and TC chemotherapy has better clinical efficacy in improving blood rheology,immune function,tumor marker levels,and quality of life in patients with advanced ovarian cancer,while reducing the incidence of adverse reactions.
