Present Status and Sustainable Development of Rhizoma Bletillae Industry
The present status and characteristics of Rhizoma Bletillae industry was described so as to provide a rationale for the sustainable industrial development. Based on relevant papers, investigations and studies on the spot, it is to analyze the main existing problems and to propose suggestions for sustainable development. Resources shortage, lack of seed quality standards, extensive cultivation methods, species and the lag of quality control technology development are the key issues which restrain the industry's sustainable development. We should strengthen the fine species selecting research and breeding research in order to solve the resources shortage problem effectively, then to improve standard of the quality control technology. It can strongly promote the sustainable development of the Rhizoma Bletillae industry.
