Heart failure is the severe and terminal stage of various heart diseases.With the deepening of the research on the pathophysiological mechanism of heart failure,more and more evidences show that the activation of T lymphocyte subsets is in-volved in the occurrence and development of heart failure.Various stimuli lead to the activation of effector T cells,which penetrate the vascular wall and promote vascular aging,elastic layer degradation and myocardial fibrosis,leading to changes in cardiovascu-lar structure and function.By regulating the balance of T cell subsets,reducing inflammation,maintaining the stability of the im-mune home environment,and then relieving clinical symptoms and signs,improving cardiac function and exercise tolerance,and improving the quality of life,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is more and more widely used in clinical practice.This article focuses on the role of T cell subset balance in heart failure and the treatment of active ingredients of TCM,single Chinese medi-cine,compound,patent medicine and acupuncture.It provides a basis for the research of traditional Chinese medicine in the field of heart failure immunity.
