Effect of Bushen Gutai Recipe(补肾固胎方)and Progesterone Injection on Early Threatened Abortion of Kidney Deficiency Type and on Pregnancy Hormone Level and Th1/Th2 Cytokines
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Bushen Gutai Recipe(补肾固胎方)combined with progesterone in-jection on early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type and its influence on pregnancy hormone level and Th1/Th2 cyto-kines.Method A total of 120 patients with early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type were divided into observation group and control group by random number table.The control group was treated with progesterone injection,while the observation group was also treated with Bushen Gutai Recipe.After 2 weeks of continuous treatment,the TCM syndrome scores(vaginal bleeding during pregnancy,tumescent or painful lower abdomen,backache,knee joint tenderness),pregnancy hormone levels[estradiol(E2),human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG),progesterone(P)]and Th1/Th2 cytokine levels[interleukin-2(IL-2),inter-leukin-4(IL-4),interferon-γ(INF-γ)]were compared and the total effective rate,pregnancy outcome and adverse reac-tion rate were analyzed.Result After treatment,the scores of vaginal bleeding,abdominal distension or pain,low back pain,knee joint soreness and softness,the levels of IL-2 and INF-γ were both decreased(P＜0.05)and those of the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The level of IL-4 in both groups were both increased(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was(91.7％,55/60),which was higher than that of the control group(75.0％,45/60)(P＜0.05).The term delivery rate in the observation group was(85.0％,51/60),which was higher than that of the control group(56.7％,34/60)(P＜0.05).The inci-dence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 3.3％,which was lower than that of the control group(25.0％)(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of Bushen Gutai Recipe combined with progesterone injection in the treatment of early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type is very significant,which can effectively regulate the level of pregnancy hormone and Th1/Th2 cytokine,correct the immune function disorder,reduce the abortion rate of patients,increase the pregnancy rate at term and im-prove the pregnancy outcome.
