Clinical Study of Zhibitai Capsule(脂必泰胶囊)Combined with Atorvastatin Calcium in Treatment of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective To explore the effect of Zhibitai Capsule(脂必泰胶囊)on carotid atherosclerotic plaque in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Ninety patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected and divided into two groups by ran-dom digital table method,45 patients in the treatment group and 45 in the control group.The control group was given routine western medicine(including atorvastatin calcium tablets)and the treatment group was given Zhibita Capsule additionally.The course was 3 months.The serum hypersensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),blood lipid,carotid plaque integral,plaque area and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome before and after treatment were compared.Results After treatment,compared with those before treatment,the serum levels of hs-CRP,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C),the carotid atherosclerosis plaque integral and plaque area and the TCM syndrome scores were decreased greatly in both groups(P＜0.05).The indexes mentioned-above were lower in treatment group than those in control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Zhibide Capsule combined with atorvastatin calcium is effective for pa-tients with acute cerebral infarction,which can significantly decreased the serum levels of inflammatory factors and blood lipids,reduce the carotid atherosclerotic plaque and improve the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.
