Analysis of Brain Image Structure and Blood Flow in Patients with Persistent Vegetative State by EEG Biomimetic Electrical Stimulation Combined with Consciousness-Restoring and Orifice-Opening Acupuncture
Objective To study the effects of electroencephalogram(EEG)biomimetic electrical stimulation combined with consciousness-restoring and orifice-opening acupuncture on brain image structure and blood flow in patients with persistent vegetative state.Methods A retrospective study was conducted.A total of 110 patients with persistent vegetative state admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected and divided into observation group(60 cases)and control group(50 cases)according to different treatment methods.Both groups received conventional drug treatment.The control group received EEG bionic electrical stimulation on the basis of this treatment,and the observation group was combined with consciousness-re-storing and orifice-opening acupuncture on the basis of the control group to promote awakening.Both groups continued the treat-ment for 30 days.Before and after treatment,CRS-R scores were evaluated and compared between the two groups,and N-ace-tyl-aspartic acid(NAA)/creatine(Cr)and choline complex(Cho)/Cr values were analyzed and compared.The levels of lipo-protein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2),total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD),manganese superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD),cerebral blood volume(CBV),cerebral blood flow(CBF),endothelin-1(ET-1)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)were compared.Results After treatment,CRS-R score in the observation group was higher than that in the con-trol group(P＜0.05).After treatment,NAA/Cr in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,Cho/Cr was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,Lp-PLA2 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,while the levels of T-SOD and Mn-SOD in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of CBV and CBF in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).The levels of NO,ET-1 and VEGF in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion EEG biomimetic electrical stimulation combined with consciousness-resto-ring and orifice-opening acupuncture can improve the state of consciousness,brain image structure and blood flow in patients with persistent vegetative state.
