Clinical Effect of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder(丹栀逍遥散)Combined with Ganmai Dazao Decoction(甘麦大枣汤)Combined with Soothing Liver and Regulating Spirit Acupuncture on Migraine and Its Influence on Serum Levels
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder(丹栀逍遥散)combined with Ganmai Dazao Decoction(甘麦大枣汤)combined with soothing liver and regulating the spirit acupuncture on migraine and its influence on the levels of serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP).Methods One hundred and twenty-six migraine patients admitted to Qiqihar Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to March 2022 were randomly divided into the combined group(63 cases)and the control group(63 cases).Both groups were given flunarizine hydrochloride tablets orally and were treated with soothing liver and regulating the spirit acupuncture.The combined group was treated with Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder and Ganmai Dazao Decoction for one month.The changes of headache symptoms,quality of life,cerebral hemodynamics and serum indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyzed.Results In terms of headache symp-toms,the frequency of headache attack,the number of headache-free days per month,the visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain at attack and the duration of a single headache in the two groups decreased after one month of treatment.After one month of com-bined treatment,the frequency of headache attack,the number of headache-free days per month,VAS score at attack and the du-ration of a single headache in the combined group were all lower than those in the control group with statistical significance(P＜0.05).In terms of quality of life,the scores and total scores of migraine-specific quality life questionnaire(MSQ)scale in both groups decreased after one month of treatment.After one month of combined treatment,the scores and total scores of MSQ scale in the combined group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).In terms of cerebral hemodynamics,the blood flow velocity of bilateral middle cerebral artery(MCA),basilar artery(BA),posterior cerebral artery(PCA)and anterior cerebral artery(ACA)in the two groups decreased after one month of treatment.After one month of combined treatment,the blood flow velocity of MCA,BA,PCA and ACA in the combined group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).In terms of serum indexes,the levels of serum TNF-α,ICAM-1 and CGRP in both groups decreased after one month of treatment.The levels of TNF-α,ICAM-1 and CGRP in serum of the combined group were lower than those of the control group after one month of combined treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After one month of treatment,the total effective rate of the the combined group was 90.48％,which was higher than that of the control group(74.60％),with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion On the basis of soothing liver and regulating the spirit acupuncture,applying Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder and Ganmai Dazao Decoction in the treatment of migraine can not only improve the headache symptoms,cerebral hemodynamics and quality of life of patients,but also improve the serum TNF-α,ICAM-1 and CGRP,so as to achieve a better clinical effect.
