Animal experiments play an important role in the development of traditional Chinese medicine,and the combina-tion of disease and syndrome with animal experiments is the only way to realize the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.In recent years,with the continuous development of animal experiments combining disease and syndrome,the establishment of ani-mal models and the evaluation system are constantly improving.However,the evaluation of macro indicators of their models is still very insufficient.Most experiments judge the macro signs of animals only by observation,which is often subjective and unscientif-ic.Therefore,through literature review,the author systematically sorted out the current progress of macro-representation evalua-tion indexes of syndromes combined with disease and syndrome in animal models and proposed a quantitative evaluation model of macro-indicators,which was considered to be a feasible and necessary approach for the development of animal experiments.At the same time,the author explored quantitative measurement methods of syndromes through combining the laboratory behavioral e-quipment in order to evaluate the syndrome indicators through professional instruments and equipment,and then solve the key problems of animal experimental model index evaluation,improve the evaluation criteria of macro indicators and promote the fur-ther development of combining disease and syndrome with animal experiments.
