Effect of Nourishing Qi and Yin and Resolving Phlegm and Blood Stasis Method on Expressions of Hormone Antibodies and Oxidative Stress Factors in Patients with Hyperthyroidism
Objective To study the nourishing Qi and Yin and resolving phlegm and blood stasis method on the expressions of hormone antibodies and oxidative stress factors in patients with hyperthyroidism.Methods A total of 76 cases of hyperthyroidism treated from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected to carry out the research.They were divided into two groups according to random number method.Thirty-eight cases in the control group were treated with conventional western medicine,and the oth-er 38 cases in the observation group were treated with Yiqi Yangyin Huatan Quyu Formula(益气养阴化痰祛瘀方).After 3 months of treatment,the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores,thyroid function(various hormone levels),the expressions of oxi-dative stress factor,thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibody(TRAb)and thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb)were com-pared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.74％(36/38),which was higher than that of the control group(76.32％,29/38),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the main symptom scores,secondary symptom scores and tongue and pulse scores of both groups were decreased,and the score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group.The levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)increased,and the levels of free triiodothyronine(FT3)and free thyroxine(FT4)in the two groups decreased(P＜0.05).The improvement of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD)in two groups increased and the level in observation group was higher than that in the control group with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of patients with hyperthyroidism,the therapy of nourishing Qi and Yin and resolving phlegm and blood stasis has a-chieved exact treatment results,effectively improving the thyroid function and the condition and relieving the symptoms by regula-ting the thyroid hormone levels and the expressions of TRAb and TPOAb.
