Comparative Study of Applications of Individualized Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score in Evaluation of Clinical Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To evaluate the advantages of individualized traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score in the clinical efficacy evaluation of TCM.Methods In clinical trials of TCM intervention in double heart disease, individualized TCM syndrome scores and traditional TCM syndrome scores were used to evaluate the efficacy of subjective symptoms in patients.Re-sults In terms of accuracy of evaluation, the overall efficacy of the two evaluation methods was similar. However, when calculating the coincidence rate between the two evaluation methods and actual subjective feelings, the individualized TCM syndrome score was significantly higher than the traditional TCM syndrome score(P<0.05).In terms of comprehensiveness of evaluation,tradi-tional TCM syndrome scores only included 7 symptoms, while individualized TCM syndrome scores showed 74 symptoms, with al-most no patients with identical symptom groups. There were 10 symptoms with a frequency of more than 30 times in both groups, which were related to liver depression and Qi stagnation syndrome and its derived syndrome, moreover, the curative effect of single symptom in the experimental group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional TCM syndrome scores, individualized TCM syndrome scores can more accurately and comprehensively reflect the changes in subjective feelings of patients before and after treatment.
