Theoretical Study on Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease with Depression(Psycho-Cardiological Disease)with Liver and Heart Based on"Heart-Vessels-Spirit"Interaction
As a compound disease of"heart of blood and vessels"and"heart of the spirit",psycho-cardiological disease has become one of the mainstream problems affecting the human health in modern society,among which coronary heart disease combined with depression is a common clinical morbidity type.Coronary heart disease(CAD)is a serious cardiovascular disease threatening the health.Anxiety and depression are potential key risk factors for its poor prognosis.Coronary heart disease com-bined with depression belongs to"chest Bi syndrome"and"depression"in traditional Chinese medicine,"heart governs the ves-sels,vessel stores the spirit",the heart has an important control and regulation of life activities,"treating from heart"makes the heart function of governing blood vessels and the spirit normally.Cardiovascular disease and emotional disease are inseparable.Chest Bi syndrome patients have obstructed heart meridians,loss of liver function,accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis,and worsening of Qi stagnation,which can lead to emotional changes.The stagnation of Qi increases,which leads to the change of e-motion.The psycho-cardiological disease is closely related to the dysfunctions of"heart governing blood vessels","heart gover-ning the spirit","liver governing blood storage"and"liver governing free flow of Qi"in traditional Chinese medicine.The im-balance of the state of"heart"and"liver"is the main factor leading to the disease progress.Therefore,"simultaneous treatment of heart and liver"is the necessary method to regulate the key pathogenesis—dysfunction of liver and heart,mainly to soothe liver and relieve depression,regulate Qi and harmonize blood.Based on the theoretical discussion of"treating from heart","heart-vessles-spirit"and"simultaneous treatment of heart and liver",and combined with modern science and technology,this paper aimed to provide new ideas and mechanism prediction for the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease with depression.
