Probing into Five Shu Acupoints Theory Based on Neijing and Nanjing
Five Shu acupoints theory is originated in Lingshu and Suwen.Neijing put forward the names and specific acu-points of the five Shu acupoints including Jing acupoints,Xing acupoints,Shu acupoints,Jing acupoints and He acupoints,laying the foundation of the theory of the five Shu acupoints theory.In Nanjing,by using the method of image comparison and combining with the operation of the twelve meridians,its clinical significance was further elucidated and supplemented in A-B Classic of Ac-upuncture and Moxibustion.The research on the comparison between Neijing and Nanjing especially from the perspective of the principles of Yin-Yang and five elements was not perfect.In this paper,by digging and summarizing the natural attributes of five Shu acupoints theory in Neijing and Nanjing,five Shu acupoints theory conforming to the natural rule of Yin-Yang and the chan-ges of the four seasons and five elements,the principle of sprouting,growth,transformation,ripening and storage of four seasons,and the thought of promotion,restriction,inhibition and transformation of five elements contained in the five Shu acupoints theory,it explained that the theory contains the corresponding principle of heaven and man,and the mechanism and law of the combined movement of Yin-Yang and five elements,and through the application of the combination of Yin-Yang and five elements of the five Shu acupoints to guide the practice of acupuncture and moxibustion.The theory of simple and natural philosophy is guiding the ancient and modern acupuncture in clinic,and the acupoint prescriptions can be made based on this.It founded the prescrip-tion methods of Yin-Yang and five elements such as seasonable acupoint selecting method,mother-tonifying child-reducing method method,purging the south and tonifying the north method,reducing Ying acupoint for reinforcing He acupoint method,which possessed the connotation of humanities and natural science,showing the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine.
