Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine says"anyone who will use acupuncture must first diagnose the pulse.Depending on the severity of Qi,it can be treated."Pulse condition is not only the main basis for acupuncture treatment and acu-point selection,but also can effectively reflect whether the acupuncture has the effect of getting Qi and judge the curative effect.It runs through the diagnosis and treatment of diseases,and has important clinical guiding significance.Under the premise of em-phasizing the correlation between pulse condition and the feeling of getting Qi,this paper associated the two with the functions of"spirit"and"Qi",and discussed them in combination with modern clinical trials and modern biological research basis.By dis-cussing the elements of acupuncture and the effect of getting Qi,it analyzed key elements and the correlation and correspondence of modern medical technology to provide theoretical basis and future clinical prospects for revealing the close relationship between pulse and the effect of getting Qi.
