Shengmai Power(生脉散)is a common formula for the treatment of deficiency of both vital energy and Yin.It has the effect of benefiting Qi and promoting fluid,astringing Yin and stopping sweating.In modern clinical practice,Shengmai Powder is often used to treat cardiovascular and respiratory diseases,and it also has the anti-shock and anti-tumor effects.In this paper,the chemical constituents,pharmacological effects and clinical applications of Shengmai Powder in recent years were reviewed,and the quality markers(Q-Markers)of Shengmai Powder were predicted and analyzed based on the concept of Q-Marker of traditional Chinese medicine.The Q-Markers of Shengmai Powder,such as ginsenoside Rg1,ginsenoside Re,ginsen-oside Rb1,gomisin A,schisandrin A,methylophiopogonone A and ophiopogonin D were proposed to provide reference for the qual-ity control and subsequent research of Shengmai Powder.
