Effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction(半夏泻心汤)in Treatment of Patients with Helicobacter Pylori Positive Chronic Atrophic Gastritis and Analysis of Levels of G-17,PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ
Objective To study the impacts of Banxia Xiexin Decoction(半夏泻心 汤)on the curative effects,the levels of gas-trin 17(G-17),pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ)and pepsinogen Ⅱ(PG Ⅱ)of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)positive chronic atrophic gastri-tis(CAG)patients.Methods From January 2021 to February 2023,a total of 98 patients with Hp positive CAG were admitted to the hospital for study.Using a random number table method,the patients were divided into a control group(49 cases,treated with conventional Western medicine)and an observation group(49 cases,treated with Banxia Xiexin Decoction on the basis of the control group).Before and after treatment,the efficacy,Hp eradication ratio,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,serum levels of G-17,PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ and occurrence of side effects were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate and Hp eradication rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no difference in the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Be-fore treatment,there was no difference in serum levels of G-17,PG Ⅰ or PG Ⅱ between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treat-ment,the serum levels of G-17,PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no difference in side effects between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Banxia Xiexin Decoction has an ideal therapeutic effect on Hp positive CAG patients,and can improve the Hp eradication effect and the clinical symptoms,promote the secretion of G-17,PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ,and has high safety.It is worthy of adopting.
