Visualized Analysis of Research Status and Trends of TCM Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer Knowledge Map
Objective Based on the knowledge graph function of CiteSpace and VOSviewer software,this paper visually ana-lyzed the research on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)prevention and treatment of corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)in China National Knowledge Internet(CNKI),in order to show the research status and evolution trend of TCM prevention and treatment of COVID-19 in three years,and to provide valuable experience for the future epidemic disease research.Methods All literatures related to TCM prevention and treatment of CO VID-19 in CNKI from December 1,2019 to March 8,2023 were re-trieved,screened and exported in the format of Refworks.After setting relevant parameters of CiteSpace and VOSviewer software,the annual number of publications,literature sources,authors,research institutions and keywords were analyzed.Results A total of 2789 literatures related to TCM prevention and treatment of COVID-19 were included.Journals of Traditional Chinese Medicine published 94 literatures,with the largest number.LIU Qingquan,YANG Fengwen and ZHANG Boli were high-yield authors.Hubei University of Chinese Medicine,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and their affiliated hospitals published more papers.The keywords co-occurrence map showed that there were more frequencies of TCM,epidemic disease,TCM syndrome,syndrome differentiation and treatment,recovery period and so on.Keywords cluster map mainly clustered into 8 categories,including TCM syndrome,network pharmacology,prevention,syndrome differentiation and treatment,recovery period,TCM nursing,heavy type,Chinese patent medicine.The keywords emergence map showed that rehabil-itation,action mechanism,signaling pathway and other keywords were more studied and may continue to study.Conclusion In this study,CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to jointly display the knowledge map in related fields of TCM prevention and treatment of COVID-19 to explore the current research status and provide experience for TCM prevention and treatment of epi-demic disease in the future.
