Research Progress on Processing of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus)
Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus)is a typical Chinese medicine for both medicine and food,with diverse chemical compo-nents and rich nutrition.It has significant pharmacological activity and high nutritional value,and has a long history of medicinal and edible use.By reviewing ancient and modern literature,this article summarized,organized and analyzed the processing of Fu-penzi(Rubi Fructus)and its modern processing research.The processing methods of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus)were initially recor-ded in Leigong Paozhi Lun.The processing method was mixed with wine and steamed overnight.Then a series of processing methods gradually emerged,including wine washing,wine soaking and roasting,wine soaking and frying,honey making,salt mak-ing,fermentation,etc.However,due to the incomplete establishment of processing technology and quality standards for Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus),their quality may vary,which may affect the clinical efficacy.At present,the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmaco-poeia does not record the processing method of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus).Modern research has shown that with changes in process-ing methods and techniques,the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus)are also affected.Therefore,this article reviewed the processing methods and the impact of processing on the quality of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus),in order to provide reference for the development and clinical application of Fupenzi(Rubi Fructus)processing.
