Clinical Efficacy of Qingzao Jiufei Decoction Combined with Tanreqing Injection In Prevention and Treatment of Radiation-induced Lung Injury and its Influence on Immune Index and Expression of IL-2 and TNF-α
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Qingzao Jiufei Decoction combined with Tanreqing injection in prevention and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury and its influence on immune index and expression of interleukin-2(IL-2)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Methods A total of 100 lung cancer patients who received three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy of chest in Department of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy of Tangshan People's Hospital from September 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with radiotherapy alone,while the treatment group was treated with Qingzao Jiufei Decoction combined with Tanreqing injection in the basis of radiotherapy.The short-term effect,the incidence of radiation pneumonia and adverse reactions,the quality of life at three months before and after radiotherapy,the immune index,the changes of IL-2 and TNF-α were compared at three months after the end of radiotherapy between two groups.Results The short-term effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Karnofsky performance status(KPS)scores at three months after radiotherapy were higher than those before radiotherapy in two groups(P＜0.05).The improvement of KPS score at three months after radiotherapy in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05).The TCM syndrome scores of two groups at three months after radiotherapy were lower than those before radiotherapy(P＜0.05),and the improvement of TCM syndrome score at three months after radiotherapy in the treatment group was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).The CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+ in the treatment group at three months after radiotherapy were higher than those before radiotherapy(P＜0.05),and the improvement was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant change of CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+ in the control group at three months after radiotherapy compared to those before radiotherapy(P＞0.05).The serum IL-2 levels at three months after radiotherapy were higher than those before radiotherapy while the TNF-α levels were lower than those before radiotherapy in two groups(P＜0.05).The improvement of serum IL-2 and TNF-α levels at three months after radiotherapy in the treatment group was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between two group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Qingzao Jiufei Decoction combined with Tanreqing injection can obviously reduce the incidence of radiation pneumonia,improve the level of some immune indexes,and alleviate the inflammatory reaction of cells.
