Objective To observe the efficacy of cervus blood granule on patients with chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia(CIT).Methods A total of 124 patients with CIT were divided into two groups by the random number table method. The treatment group including 62 patients was treated by cervus blood granule combined with CIT conventional therapy. The control group including 62 patients was treated by CIT conventional therapy.Blood routine tests were performed on the 4th,7th,10th,and 14th day of treatment, and the efficacy of increasing platelet was observed in the two groups. Results The effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group on the 4th,7th,10th,and 14th day of treatment. On the 4th day of treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the two groups on the 7th,10th and 14th day of medication (P>0.05).As for the recovery time of platelet≥100×109/L and absolute platelet count>50×109/L,the treatment group was 7.35 days, while the control group was 8.39 days, with no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The recovery time of platelet in the treatment group was shorter. In terms of physical recovery, there was a statistically significant difference in physical condition between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the physical condition of the treatment group significantly recovered compared with that of the control group after treatment. Conclusion Cervus blood granule combined with CIT conventional therapy can safely, effectively, and quickly increase platelet, shorten treatment time, restore physical status, and enable better clinical efficacy for CIT patients.
