With the in-depth study of tumor biology,it has been gradually recognized that chronic inflammation is inextricably linked to tumor.Among the risk factors of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) such as chronic viral hepatitis,alcoholic hepatitis,and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,the occurrence and development of chronic uncontrolled inflammation is a core factor in the occurrence of HCC.In the process of non-controllable inflammation,the complex and diverse pathological changes occurring in liver provide a suitable microenvironment for tumor.According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),tumorigenesis is based on healthy qi deficiency,while inflammation-cancer transformation can be carried out continuously because of the latent and accumulated toxin.This paper discussed the mechanism of inflammation-cancer transformation of hepatocellular carcinoma from the perspective of microenvironment and the TCM pathogenesis of inflammation-cancer transformation of liver cancer based on the theory of "healthy qi deficiency with latent toxin",and combined the treatment experience of renowned TCM doctor PIAO Bingkui to explore the specific application of the ideas of "strengthening the healthy qi and nourishing the foundation" and "regulating qi and detoxifying" in inflammation-cancer transformation of liver cancer.
