Malignant tumor seriously endangers human life and health,and experimental animal model of tumor is an important tool for studying the pathogenesis of tumor and screening drug.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of tumor,but due to the complexity of its active ingredients,numerous regulatory targets,and wide range of action pathways,more in-depth studies are urgently needed to elucidate the anti-cancer mechanism of TCM.Animal model of TCM tumor syndrome can simulate the clinical characteristics of tumor patients,which is the cornerstone of modern research on the anti-tumor mechanism of TCM.This paper reviewed and made the prospect on the latest research status of experimental animal model of TCM tumor and animal model of TCM tumor syndrome.
