Public services in archives for emergencies represent a vital aspect of the archives'direct involvement in social governance and national governance capabilities.Starting from the rich connota-tion and contemporary value of the public service capacity of archives,this paper analyzes the func-tional positioning of the public service capacity of archives.It discusses five key areas:Building a service capacity system for emergencies,constructing multi-level and all-round channels for collecting archives resources,promoting the development of archives public services towards digitalization and intelligence,strengthening archives publicity work,and high-quality promotion of talent team con-struction.Strategies and paths for improving the public service capacity of archives for emergencies are proposed.
