As the product of the development of Chu lacquerware art and culture,the Chu lacquerware pattern plays an important role in plastic arts,and has certain aesthetic meaning and research value.This paper analyzes the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chu lacquerware pattern,takes the phoenix and bird pattern of Chu lacquerware as an example,and uses the innovative pattern extraction model to improve the accuracy of pattern edge form.Using 7-level Likert scale method,the most representative phoenix-bird form is obtained through user perception evaluation.The innovative design is carried out from the aspects of pattern form,color,modern graphic design method,and applied to knitwear,so as to integrate traditional Chinese art elements with modern knitwear,which provides reference for the innovative application of traditional Chinese pattern elements in knitwear.
