In recent years,draped pleats have been widely used in clothing,especially in knitted clothing design,which have become one of the fashion elements.This paper analyzes the current status of design application and theoretical research on draped pleats in knitted garments,the classification and individual characteristics of draped pleats,and the applicability of knitted fabrics to draped pleats.And it also discusses the main variations of draped pleats in knitted garments in terms of application and design methods,and summarizes the various modeling techniques of draped pleats in knitted garments.This study can provide ideas and references for the effective use of knitted fabrics and innovative design of knitted garments.
