Detection of Medium-chain Chlorinated Paraffins and Short-chain Chlorinated Paraffins in Textiles
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of chlorinated turpentine in textiles was applied by GC-ECNI-MS method. The quantitative analysis of chlorinated turpentine was realized by transforming the relationship between the sum of molecular ion peak and dechlorination ion peak and the concentration. The standard addition experiment was conducted on the cotton cloth samples commonly used in textiles. The recovery rate and relative standard deviation were in the range of 83.55%~95.73%and 2.81%~4.10%,respectively,and the limit of quantification was 0.2 mg/kg,which meet the requirements of daily testing.Ten actual samples were tested, and no residue of chlorinated turpentine was found.Due to the advantages of simple pretreatment, high sensitivity and high recovery rate, the detection method in this study can provide technical support for the detection of chlorinated turpentine in the textiles.
