Study of the Inorganic Hybrid Modified PVDF Membrane
Textiles are widely used in the process of human production and life, but their function is single, which can not meet the special application requirements such as air quality improvement. In this study, the polyvinylidene fluoride/attapulgite(ATP)/CaCl2 hybrid membranes with both hygroscopic and formaldehyde adsorption functions were prepared by the solvent volatilization-induced phase separation method. The effect of ATP content on membrane structure and properties was studied. The results show that the porous structure is formed with the increase of ATP content, and the hygroscopicity, formaldehyde adsorption and mechanical properties of the membrane are improved. The water vapor adsorption capacity of M10 membrane is 0.876 g/g,the formaldehyde adsorption capacity is 73.6 mg/g,the dry-state strength is 0.397 MPa,and the wet-state strength is 0.398 MPa.M10 membrane has good film formation continuity on textiles. The membrane obtained in this study and its film-making process can provide valuable experience and technical reservation for the functionalization of textile surface finishing, and expand the application of textiles in air treatment.
