The bulletproof mechanism of fiber composites is summarized,and the properties of Aramid Ⅱ bullet-proof material.Aramid Ⅲ bullet-proof material,ultra high molecular weight polyethylene bullet-proof material,PBO bullet-proof material and shear thickening fluid bullet-proof material are introduced.It is pointed out that in order to meet the requirements of lightweight,high protection and comfort of soft protective materials in the future,high performance fiber reinforced bulletproof composite based on resin will become the research hotspot of new bulletproof materials,it is difficult to meet the requirement of bulletproof material in the future if only high performance fiber reinforced composites are used.Hybrid fiber bulletproof composites will become the research direction of bulletproof material in the future.
