The historic leap from"one combination"to"two combinations"in the process of the spread and localization of Marxism in China shows that the CPC's understanding of the relationship between Marxism and the excellent traditional Chinese culture has made a qualitative leap,marking that the CPC has stepped out of the"China's reality"paradigm,pushed the construc-tion of the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese nation's modern civilization to a new historical and realistic height and reflect-ed the cultural consciousness and self-confidence of the CPC.From the perspective of"the second combination",the cultural self-confidence of the CPC is based on the great changes in modern Chinese society,the spread of Marxism and the great practice of localization in China.In terms of historical logic,the formation of cultural self-confidence of the CPC has experienced a develop-ment process from cultural criticism to cultural reflection,and to cultural consciousness and self-confidence,realized"the second combination",enriched and developed the historical connotation of the localization of Marxism in China,nurtured the Chinese road to modernization,and established the path for Chinese excellent traditional culture to enter the world stage.
